Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Ireland is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The role is based in Ireland and focuses on the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automation systems within a regulated medical device environment.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and external partners, you will deliver reliable, compliant automation solutions that support business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in regulated manufacturing (medical device/pharma).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience with quality systems (FDA/ISO/GMP) in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automation equipment and control systems.
• Plan, design, document, and deliver automation projects.
• Support commissioning, validation, and qualification activities.
