Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking an experienced STA Engineer to join a global leading semiconductor company at its Cork R&D Centre in Ireland. You will perform static timing analysis, develop timing constraints, and optimize timing performance for high-performance, low-power SOCs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timing closure, validate timing models, and contribute to the successful execution of product development in Cork, Ireland.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related work experience
• Expertise with STA tools for hierarchical analysis in large SoCs
• Automation experience with Python, TCL or Perl
• Strong knowledge of ASIC design flows RTL-to-GDS
• Able to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Perform STA and timing closure for complex cores and full-chip SOCs
• Enhance STA techniques and timing closure methodologies
• Automate timing and power data mining and processing
• Drive accuracy of timing closure and reduce turnaround time
• Ensure compliance with timing signoff checklists and criteria
• Contribute to project proposals with milestones and deliverables
• Execute and deliver project goals with production support
• Resolve issues across development phases for smooth execution
