Job summary

Google's PhD Programs and Recruiting team seeks a Student Researcher Program Manager, Talent Engagement, to lead the SRP across EMEA. You will bridge academia and Google's research teams, shaping demand with senior technical leadership and designing engagement strategies for top PhD talent.

You will collaborate with DeepMind and Google Research, own the SRP operational strategy, craft high-impact events, mentor teams, and build a world-class host experience for Student Researchers throughout

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in program or project management.
Experience in managing stakeholder relationships in an organization.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee high-profile engagement initiatives, including PhD Summits, university events, conferences and technical sessions.
Partner with employer brand and technical leadership to strengthen Google's position as a destination for PhD and research talent. Build relationships across the academic and research ecosystem to support long-term talent engagement.
Own the end-to-end operational strategy for SRP in EMEA. Partner with global counterparts to ensure the program scales effectively to meet the business's research needs.
Act as a strategic partner to Research, DeepMind and Product Area leadership, providing insights on talent trends, program needs and SRP health.
Own the EMEA host experience, including training, resources and ongoing support. Build a high-touch experience for Student Researchers throughout their tenure.
