Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification and CORU registration.
• Postgraduate acute care experience desirable for staff grade; relevant placement experience considered.
• Dysphagia qualification and experience preferred.
• Willingness to undertake cross-site work as required.
• Videofluoroscopy experience is desirable.
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.

The Speech and Language Therapy Department provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults with speech, language, communication, voice, and eating, drinking or swallowing needs.

The role involves working with patients presenting with a variety of neurological, medical and surgical conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Carry out routine intake assessments

The Candidate:

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification and current CORU registration
• Postgraduate experience in an acute setting is desirable for staff grade applicants; relevant placement experience will also be considered
• Dysphagia qualification and experience
• Willingness to undertake cross-site work as required
• Videofluoroscopy experience is desirable
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
