Carton House, a five-star resort and the first Fairmont in Ireland, seeks a Receptionist to join the Spa & Wellness team on site in Maynooth. You will deliver a courteous welcome, support guest needs and promote resort services.

Requirements include a solid understanding of hotel operations, excellent spoken and written English, previous experience in a similar role, and familiarity with booking and POS systems. Shifts are 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm, including midweek and weekends.

We currently recruiting a Receptionistto join the Spa & Wellness team at Carton House.

Key Requirements:

• A good understanding of hotel operation.
• Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Knowledge of booking and POS system a strong advantage.
• Shift work and flexibility is required in this position - applicants must be available for 6am -2pm or 2-10pm rosters including mid-week and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present a professional appearance and ensure all guests receive a genuine courteous welcome on arrival/ departure.
• To anticipate guests needs whenever possible in order to enhance quality of service and exceed clients expectations.
• To assist in positively promoting service / products within the Resort and maximize every sales opportunity.
• Be aware of Resort promotions or special activities.
• Continually aim to improve our guests experience, ensure our highest levels of customer satisfaction.
