Carton House invites you to join our Spa & Wellness team as a Receptionist. You will welcome guests with warmth, manage check-ins and inquiries, and support front desk operations in a luxury five-star setting in Maynooth, Co. Kildare.

We value excellent English communication, a strong guest focus, and prior hotel experience. Shift flexibility, a welcoming attitude, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• A good understanding of hotel operation.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of booking and POS systems is a strong advantage.

• Present a professional appearance and greet guests warmly on arrival and departure.
• Anticipate guests' needs to enhance service quality and exceed expectations.

We currently recruiting a Receptionist to join the Spa & Wellness team at Carton House.

Key Requirements

• Excellent people skills.
• Passion, energy, enthusiasm.
• A good understanding of hotel operation.
• Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Knowledge of booking and POS system a strong advantage.
• Shift work and flexibility is required in this position - applicants must be available for 6am -2pm or 2-10pm rosters including mid-week and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Present a professional appearance and ensure all guests receive a genuine courteous welcome on arrival/ departure.
• To anticipate guests needs whenever possible in order to enhance quality of service and exceed clients expectations.
• To assist in positively promoting service / products within the Resort and maximize every sales opportunity.
• Be aware of Resort promotions or special activities.
• Continually aim to improve our guests experience, ensure our highest levels of customer satisfaction.
