Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our clients for ongoing work in Dublin and the surrounding areas through our agency. This role offers Monday to Friday shifts with evening and weekend work as required, providing a balance between busy service periods and time off.

Applicants should have at least 3 years in a fast-paced kitchen, current HACCP and Manual Handling certifications, and a strong commitment to health, safety and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• In-date HACCP & Manual Handling certification.
• Strong experience maintaining health & safety and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in personal workspace and throughout the kitchen.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards within set timescales and site requirements.
• Adhere to food production and waste management levels.
