Job summary

Production Equipment Europe is recruiting a Sourcing Specialist based in Galway to drive strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations across Europe. Qualifications

• Qualification or relevant industry related experience, background in supply chain or sourcing preferred.
• Proven track record of supplier evaluation, negotiation & selection.
• Strong organisational & administration skills.
• Ability to absorb technical information of products.
• Excellent negotiation and decision making skills.
• Good computer skills (MS Office), SAP ERP experience highly desirable.
• Flexible & Pro-active attitude with an ability to think strategically.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work as team member.
• Ability to work to agreed time scales and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key internal stakeholders to develop business and maximise opportunities
• Manage tender enquiries and negotiation of contracts
• Work as part of a dynamic and experienced team to help achieve company goals

The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with managers and cross functional teams within the organisation to help drive cost savings and maximise business opportunities.
