Job summary

NuSolas Energy, a growing Irish renewable energy company, seeks a technical Solar Engineer to design residential and commercial PV systems and oversee project delivery from assessment to handover.

You will coordinate with sales, surveyors, project managers, electricians and roofers, ensuring designs are practical, compliant and ready for installation. The role requires strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Design residential and commercial solar PV systems and evaluate site surveys
• Coordinate technical requirements from survey through installation and handover
• Ensure designs comply with Irish electrical regulations and SEAI requirements
• Experience with solar equipment and system integration is desirable

Responsibilities

• 1. Solar Design & Technical Assessment: design PV systems and review site data
• 2. Project Coordination: manage installation readiness and handover
• 3. Customer Communication: explain systems and address queries
• 4. Troubleshooting & Technical Support: diagnose faults and coordinate with teams
• 5. Compliance & Continuous Improvement: maintain standards and documentation
