Qualifications

  • Previous experience in solar PV installation, electrical work, or roofing (preferred).
  • SEAI Registered Solar PV Installer or Electrician (RECI/ECSSA) or equivalent is desirable.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and renewable energy technologies.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Install solar PV panels, mounting systems, inverters and associated electrical components per standards.
  • Conduct roof assessments to determine panel placement and structural suitability.
  • Wire and connect solar systems to the grid and ensure proper functionality.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar PV Installer to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install solar PV panels, mounting systems, inverters, and associated electrical components in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct roof assessments to determine optimal panel placement and structural suitability.
  • Wire and connect solar systems to the electrical grid, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Test and commission installed systems to verify performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing solar PV systems.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including working at heights and electrical safety protocols.

  • Full clean driving licence (essential).
