Job summary

Archer is seeking a Software Architect/Tech Lead to shape the technology strategy for an international insurance business with hubs in Dublin, London and Bermuda.

You will lead the modernization of legacy platforms into cloud-native Azure-based architectures, driving engineering practices, patterns and governance across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Software Architect or Technical Lead
• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices
• Experience modernising legacy environments
• Excellent knowledge of Azure functions and microservices

Responsibilities

• Shape software architecture and engineering practices
• Lead the evolution from legacy platforms to modern Azure-based architecture
• Design scalable microservice and cloud-native solutions
• Work with Azure Functions, orchestration and distributed systems
• Assist in integrating AI into the SDLC and enterprise applications
• Provide technical leadership to development teams
• Collaborate with senior leadership in Software, QA and Enterprise Architecture
