Job summary

Geely Auto Ireland is seeking a highly creative Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of the brand’s social media and content strategy within the Irish market. You will create engaging local content, grow Geely Ireland’s digital community and ensure the brand maintains a dynamic, culturally relevant presence across key platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing or related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience managing social media channels and digital content for a brand, agency or automotive business.
• Experience creating engaging social-first content including reels, stories, photography and short-form video.
• Experience monitoring, analyzing and reporting campaign metrics.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and growing a new automotive brand’s social presence within the Irish market.
• Creating engaging, locally relevant content at pace whilst maintaining global brand consistency.
• Building strong audience engagement and community growth across multiple social media platforms.
• Managing real-time content creation and community interaction during launches, events and key business moments.
• Balancing creativity with commercial objectives and measurable campaign performance.
• Coordinating multiple stakeholders, agencies and timelines within a fast-moving launch environment.
• Ensuring social media activity remains culturally relevant and responsive to evolving platform behaviours.
• Supporting retailer marketing activity whilst maintaining brand standards and alignment.
