Job summary

Cpl Healthcare, partnering with Tusla Child and Family Agency, is recruiting Social Care Workers for Special Care Units in Dublin West (Lucan) and Dublin North (Portrane). You will participate in Care and Placement Plans and promote welfare in a secure, therapeutic environment for young people aged 11–17.

Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social care and at least 6 months' experience are required; new graduates are welcome to apply. Aoife Hall is the contact.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social care or a relevant field.
• Minimum 6 months working in social care sector (placement experience considered).
• Ideally some experience working with young people or residential experience.
• Experience working within a challenging environment and an understanding of therapeutic interventions.

• Promote the rights of each young person within the center.
• Promote physical, emotional, social, educational welfare of each young person.

Cpl Healthcareis delighted to have partnered withTuslaChild and Family Agencyto recruit for a number of Social Care Workerswithin their special care services, due to continued expansion in Dublin West (Lucan) and Dublin North (Portrane) with the aim of increasing support to vulnerable young people in need of this service.

These vacancies currently exist in their special care units for children in care aged between 11 and 17 years providing for a short-term, stabilising intervention that priorities safe care in a secure, therapeutic environment.

While this is a challenging role, it is an extremely rewarding position in the social care sector. We welcome applications from new graduates to experienced professionals.

As part of your role you will be participating in development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans, while promoting the rights of each young person within the center as well as promoting physical, emotional, social, educational welfare of each young person.
