Job summary

CPL Healthcare, in partnership with Tusla Child and Family Agency, invites applications for Social Care Workers and Leaders across Dublin and nationwide. The roles offer permanent positions with a focus on trauma-informed care for children and young people.

Successful candidates will be part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering holistic care, building rapport, and promoting safety. A full Irish driving licence is required; CORU registration or a CORU-approved qualification plus registration

Qualifications

• Full, manual Irish driving licence.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Social Care (placement accepted).
• Registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU.
• Hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be necessary).

The successful candidates will encourage the development of positive attachments through relationship building with the overall goal of providing a therapeutic environment for children and young people. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging the young people in the programme and on building rapport in support of developing relationships.

You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of Social Care professionals to deliver robust, holistic, trauma-informed care to the young people.

The Social Care Worker/Leader will have responsibility for working with Children and Young People, household activities, administration, teamwork, professional development, health and safety.

We are accepting applications for permanent positions in Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Westmeath, Longford, Louth, Waterford, Cork, Tipperary, Clare & Limerick.

Successful candidates will:

• Have a full, manual Irish driving licence
• Have a minimum of 6 months experience in Social Care (placement experience accepted)

• Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU.

• Hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be necessary)
