Job summary

Cpl Healthcare are partnering with a client in a residential care service in Tipperary to recruit Social Care Workers. You will support children and young people in residential settings, implement care plans, and promote a safe, inclusive environment in line with HIQA guidelines.

The role requires collaboration with teams and external agencies, focusing on holistic care and preparation for leaving care while supporting independence and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, or Early Childhood Education (level 7-8).
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations and safeguarding standards.
• Experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds.

Cpl Healthcare are delighted to partner with our client in the recruitment of Social Care Workers to join a residential service in Two-Mile-Borris, Borrisokane and Dundrum Co. Tipperary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential settings.
• Implement individual care plans to meet the emotional, social, and educational needs of young people.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment in compliance with HIQA standards, child protection policies, and safeguarding legislation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, management, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
• Support young people in preparation for leaving care, as appropriate, and facilitate independence skills.
• Participate in reflective practice, training, and professional development.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Social Care, Youth Work, Early Childhood Education Level 8 or a related discipline (minimum Level 7).
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HIQA regulations, child protection, and safeguarding standards.
• Ability to work with young people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.

Salary

0–2 years experience: €39,936 per annum

2+ years experience: €42,432 per annum
