Prosper Fingal is recruiting a Social Care Worker for our Day Services team on Seatown Road, Swords. The role supports adults with intellectual disabilities and autism to build independence, pursue interests, and participate in the local community.

We offer a permanent contract and a 30-hour week with potential for more hours. Prospective staff will be CORU registered with QQI Level 7/8 in Social Care and possess strong communication and IT skills.

Hours: 30 hours per week, with the possibility of increased contracted hours, subject to approval.
Salary: €39,882-€57,476 full-time equivalent, based on relevant experience and pro rata for contracted hours.

Prosper Fingal is recruiting a Social Care Worker to join our Day Services team on Seatown Road in Swords, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism to build independence, pursue their interests and participate in their local community. Working alongside each person, you will get to know their strengths, preferences and ambitions, and support them to make choices and work towards their personal goals.
The position currently offers 30 contracted hours per week. An increase in contracted hours is under consideration but is not yet confirmed.

About The Role

• Plan and deliver person-centred supports around each individual's needs, choices and goals.
• Support people to develop everyday living skills and independence.
• Create opportunities for community involvement, social activities and meaningful relationships.
• Work closely with families, colleagues and other professionals.
• Contribute to personal planning and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver supports in line with New Directions and Prosper's values.

What You Will Need

• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential)
• A QQI Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, or another qualification recognised by CORU.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills.
• A positive, person-centred approach and commitment to supporting people to achieve their goals.

Experience in disability services, knowledge of New Directions and a full, clean manual driving licence are desirable.
