Prosper Fingal is recruiting a CORU-registered Social Care Worker to join our Respite Services team in Balbriggan, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. The role emphasizes person-centred support, helping residents have positive respite experiences in an established disability service.

You will contribute to personal planning, maintain records, and ensure alignment with HIQA Standards and Prosper's values. Evening, weekend and sleepovers are part of the roster.

Qualifications

• CORU registration as Social Care Worker is required.
• Full, clean manual driving licence is required.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and sleepovers.
• Experience in respite or residential services is desirable.

Responsabilités

Prosper Fingal is recruiting a CORU-registered Social Care Worker to join our Respite Services team in Balbriggan, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. This role would suit someone who enjoys providing person-centred support and helping people have a positive and enjoyable respite experience within an established disability service.

The role

• Participate in activities they enjoy and access their local community.
• Develop everyday living and social skills.
• Build meaningful relationships and enjoy positive experiences.

You will also contribute to personal planning, maintain appropriate records and help ensure that supports are delivered in line with HIQA Standards and Prosper's values.

The roster includes evenings, weekends and sleepovers

Essential Requirements

• Be registered with CORU as a Social Care Worker.
• Hold a qualification meeting CORU's registration requirements.
• Hold a full, clean manual driving licence.
• Be available to work the respite roster, including evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

Previous experience in respite, residential services or supporting people with intellectual disabilities is desirable, but not essential.
