Job summary

Prosper Meath in Navan, Co Meath, is seeking a Social Care Worker to support adults with intellectual disabilities to live full, independent and connected lives.

You will help service users build daily living skills, participate in community, creative and social activities, and develop confidence, wellbeing and relationships.

CORU registration is essential; QQI Level 7/8 in Social Care or related qualification (or significant experience leading to CORU); a full, clean driving licence is required.

Hours: 35-39 hours per week

Actual salary will be pro rata based on contracted hours (35-39 hours per week).

We are now recruiting for Social Care Workers for our day services in Navan, County Meath. Our Navan Day Services offer a dynamic, community-based environment focused on person-centred supports and meaningful engagement.

CORU registration is essential for this role.

The Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will support service users to:

• Build independence and daily living skills
• Participate in community, creative, and social activities
• Develop confidence, wellbeing, and meaningful relationships

You will be part of a professional, person-centred, and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality services.

Requirements

• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential)
• QQI Level 7/8 Degree in Social Care or a related qualification and/or significant relevant experience leading to CORU registration
• Strong communication and IT skills
• Full, clean manual driving licence
• Experience in disability services (desirable)
• Knowledge of New Directions (advantageous)
