Job summary

Liquid Personnel is seeking committed and compassionate Social Care Workers to support young people in a residential care setting based in Wicklow, Ireland. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes safety, stability and emotional wellbeing.

You will work within a trauma-informed, values-led team to deliver therapeutic care, maintain a safe environment, and build trusting relationships.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Care or equivalent.
  • Full, clean manual driving licence.
  • Willingness to work a flexible rota, including sleepovers.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and rights of young people.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to young people in residential care in line with care plans.
  • Promote independence, education, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
  • Work within a trauma-informed, values-led team to deliver therapeutic care.

Job description

Liquid Personnel is seeking committed and compassionate Social Care Workers to support young people in a residential care setting based in Wicklow, Ireland. You will help create a nurturing environment and play a key role in enabling young people to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent, person-centred care and support to young people in line with their individual care plans.
  • Promote independence, education, emotional well-being, and positive social development.
  • Work collaboratively within a trauma-informed, values-led team to deliver therapeutic care approaches.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, stable, and supportive residential environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with young people and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities.
  • Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties, as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Level 7 qualification or higher in Applied Social Care or a related discipline (CORU-approved or eligible).
  • Full, clean manual driving licence.
  • Willingness to work a flexible rota, including sleepovers and unsocial hours.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, professional standards, and the rights of young people.
