Job summary

Avista invites applications for the position of Social Care Worker in the Community Residential Service, Limerick. This permanent role offers permanent/part-time and relief contracts, with a salary range noted (€41,260–€57,789).

Salary subject to relevant public sector experience and pro-rating for hours worked. You will support people with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, community-based setting, aligning with Avista's ethos and HIQA standards.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.

• Full clean Irish driving licence for manual vehicles

• Previous experience of working with people who have behaviours of concern.
• Have experience of Person Centred planning.

• Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
