Salary

€40,851 – 57,217* (LSI). Salary is subject to relevant public sector experience and is pro‑rated for hours of work.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
• Up‑to‑date CORU registration or confirmation that an application for registration has been submitted to CORU.
• Experience working within the area of intellectual disability and with individuals who have behaviours of concern.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Desirable

• Additional experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Full automatic or manual driving licence.
• Experience supporting a person with behaviours of concern.
• Knowledge of New Directions.
• Willingness to support persons in developing skills and competencies in areas of interest and learning.

Competencies

Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of the Avista competency framework.
