Job summary

Avista invites applications for the role of Social Worker Team Leader with East Limerick Children’s Services in Limerick. This temporary part-time contract (17.5 hours per week) offers a salary between €72,407 and €83,520, subject to relevant public sector experience.

The post requires CORU registration, NQSW or equivalent, and a track record in children and family community services. The successful candidate will lead a social work team, uphold Children First guidelines, manage complex cases,

Salary: €72,407 -€83,520

• Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

• A NQSW or equivalent professional social worker qualifications.
• 3 years post qualification social worker experience.
• Be registered with the Social Workers Professional Register (CORU) and have an active CPD Portfolio.
• Have experience of working with children with complex needs and their families and/or experience in working within children and family services in the community.
• Have experience of working in services which operate and comply with child protection procedures in line with Children First National Guidelines.
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence and use of a car.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
