Job summary

Emerald Locums in Limerick is seeking a Social Care Leader / PIC to oversee a dedicated residential care team and ensure HIQA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 qualification in Social Care or related discipline.
• Formal management qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ management or supervisory experience within health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil the statutory responsibilities of the Person in Charge and ensure HIQA compliance.
• Lead, supervise, and support Social Care staff.
• Oversee rosters, service delivery, documentation, and Person-Centred Plans.
• Support the management of budgets and resources.
• Liaise with families and relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and person-centred residential environment.
• Participate in on-call arrangements and respond to emergencies when required.
