Job summary

Building Staff Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Site Engineer for a new retail park development in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

You will carry out setting out and survey control across the site, plus set out steel frame, blockwork and envelope works, coordinating with subcontractors and the design team. You will check drawings and specifications, provide technical advice, support quality control and health and safety, and report directly to the Managing Director and Contracts Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven Site Engineer experience with a main contractor.
• Setting out experience on groundworks and structural steel.
• Commercial or retail project experience is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of BCAR and QEHS requirements.
• Strong communication with subcontractors and design teams.
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant site certifications.

• Report directly to the Managing Director and Contracts Manager

Our client is a mid-tier general building contractor delivering projects across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, fit-out and heritage sectors. They are recruiting a Site Engineer for a new retail park development in Tullamore, comprising 3 steel frame buildings with block infill, brick external leaf and Kingspan roof cladding, along with all associated groundworks and landscaping.

Responsibilities
