Job summary

Wallace Myers International is recruiting a Site Engineer to support a well-established developer on large-scale residential projects in Cork. You will assist design teams, supervise on-site teams, survey and set out, and manage materials and reporting while ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, Safe Pass, and proficient with AutoCAD/Revit and total stations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management required.
• Must have a current Safe Pass card; Manual Handling preferable but training can be provided.
• Fully computer literate with MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Full Drivers Licence with access to a car; eligible to work in Ireland.
• Fluent English; proficient in setting out with total stations and Leica iCR70 or equivalent.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit and Trimble software programmes; ability to read Construction Drawings.
• Experience working with concrete and/or construction on site.

• Control the quality of works on a construction project.
• Surveying and setting out on site.
• Supervision of site teams.
• Monitor site progress of construction teams.
• Documentation control and recording of Health and Safety procedures on site.
• Establishing, monitoring, and maintaining reporting arrangements, resources, and client relationships.
• Keeping management fully advised of any issue/risk which has arisen or might arise, and which could affect the business/project.
• Management of materials.

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management.
• Must have a current Safe Pass card.
• Manual Handling certificate is preferable, but training can be provided.
