Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a Site Engineer to join our client's team on civil infrastructure projects in Dublin. You will contribute to safe, timely delivery and quality on-site execution, working closely with the Senior Site Engineer and construction team.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 2–5 years' experience on infrastructure projects, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit. You will support planning, site measurement and HSEQ compliance.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree required.
• 2–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar.
• Experience with digital project and information management systems.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Self-motivated with proactive learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil engineering projects to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities with the Senior Site Engineer, Site Agent, Construction Manager, Site Foreman, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out setting out, surveying, site measurements and quality inspections.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) standards and company procedures.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, progress reporting and maintaining accurate site records.
• Monitor productivity, material usage and plant efficiency to support cost control.
• Contribute to engineering innovation, continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
