About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team working on a long-term Civil Infrastructure project based in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineering professional to develop their career while playing a key role in the successful delivery of major civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil engineering projects to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities with the Site Agent, Construction Manager, Site Foreman, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out setting out, surveying, site measurements and quality inspections.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) standards and company procedures.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, progress reporting and maintaining accurate site records.
• Monitor productivity, material usage and plant efficiency to support cost control.
• Contribute to engineering innovation, continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• 2–5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar engineering software.
• Experience using digital project and information management systems.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a project team.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
