Job summary

Jons Civil Engineering Company Ltd in Cork is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a long-term civil infrastructure project. You will contribute to the safe, on-time delivery of major civil works.

Key duties include setting out, surveying, coordinating with the Site Agent and subcontractors, planning labour and materials, maintaining site records, and ensuring HSEQ compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline.
• 2–5 years' experience in a similar role on civil projects.
• Experience with civil/infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar software.
• Experience using digital project and information management systems.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil projects to quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities with Site Agent, Construction Manager, Site Foreman, subcontractors and suppliers.
