Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Site Engineer to join a Main Civil Engineering Contractor working on a school project in the Midlands. You will contribute to setting out, surveying, and ensuring drawings are followed on site.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 1–2 years of Irish/UK experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. You will support procurement and commercial teams, complete SHEQ forms, and help manage site records daily.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of civil engineering experience in Ireland or the UK.
• Knowledge of setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, and total station.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and site surveying on civil works.
• Check technical designs and drawings for on-site compliance.
• Assist procurement and the commercial team.
• Complete SHEQ forms and track site records.
• Complete labour and plant returns and other daily site tasks.

Role:

• Setting out
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly

• Assisting the commercial department.

• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must be graduating or hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must have a minimum 1-2 years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
