Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a residential project in Dublin. The role focuses on setting out, site surveying and ensuring drawings are followed to the highest standard.

You will work with GPS, total station and AutoCAD, with a requirement for a Civil Engineering degree and at least two years' relevant experience in Ireland or the UK. A vehicle and laptop are supported by the employer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Experience with setting out equipment (GPS, Total Station).

Responsibilities

• Setting out and line/level control on site.
• Site surveying and verification of drawings.
• Check technical designs and drawings for adherence.
• Assist the procurement department.
• Assist the commercial department.
• Complete SHEQ forms and site records.
• Track labour and plant returns.
• General site civil engineering daily tasks.

A Leading Contractor is hiring a Setting Out Engineer to join their team. Your focus will be to help deliver a high-quality and exciting new Residential Project in Dublin. The company has a strong reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and project delivery. The successful candidate would be working on a residential project in a great location.

Role:

• Setting out
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Assisting the commercial department.
• Completing SHEQ forms
• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must be graduating or hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must have a minimum 2 -years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
