Job summary

Talent-Curve is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on infrastructure projects across road works, drainage, structures and public realm.

You will set out, level and survey using GPS and Total Station, liaise with the site team, and produce as-built drawings while ensuring QA and health & safety on site. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven Site Engineer experience in civil, infrastructure, or groundworks.
• Strong knowledge of setting out equipment (GPS, Total Station).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out, levelling and surveying using GPS and Total Station.
• Ensure works are constructed per latest design drawings and specs.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors and design teams for smooth delivery.
• Produce as-built drawings and maintain survey records.
• Support quality assurance and comply with health & safety standards on site.
• Assist with technical queries and resolve on-site issues efficiently.

We are currently working with a well-established civil engineering contractor to source an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a range of infrastructure projects, including road rehabilitation, drainage, structures, and public realm works. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineer to join a business with a strong pipeline of projects and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Role

• Carrying out setting out, levelling, and surveying works using GPS and Total Station equipment
• Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with the latest design drawings and specifications
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery
• Producing as-built drawings and maintaining accurate survey records
• Supporting quality assurance and compliance with health & safety standards on site
• Assisting with technical queries and resolving on-site issues efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in a Site Engineer role within civil engineering, infrastructure, or groundworks
• Strong working knowledge of setting out equipment (GPS, Total Station)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• CSCS card (essential)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a site team
• Full driving licence
