Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a leading Civil Engineering contractor in Wicklow to work on a large residential project.

You will set out, supervise on-site activities, perform site surveys, check drawings with AutoCAD and GPS, and support procurement and SHEQ processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of recent civil engineering experience in Ireland or the UK.
• Proficient with GPS, site engineer level, and total station.
• Excellent MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and overseeing building work on site.
• Carry out site surveying and maintain records.
• Check technical designs and drawings for accuracy.
• Assist procurement and commercial teams.
• Complete SHEQ forms and track site records.
• Manage labour and plant returns; perform daily site tasks.

Job description

A leading Civil Engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team in Wicklow. They have experience in all aspects of Civil Engineering and Construction, The successful candidate will be working on a large residential project.

Role:

• Setting out


• Overseeing building work


• Site surveying


• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.


• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly


• Assisting the procurement department


• Assisting the commercial department.


• Completing SHEQ forms


• Tracking site records


• Completing labour and plant returns


• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar


• Must have a minimum 2-years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK


• Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station


• Excellent MS Office skills

Salary:

• Salary circa €55k-€66k DOE
