Job summary

Finning is seeking a Showroom Sales Advisor in Dublin to help customers find Caterpillar equipment, attachments, parts and accessories while delivering a professional buying experience. You will be based in the showroom and trained to develop specialist product knowledge and engage customers from enquiry to delivery and after-sales support.

The role requires experience in retail or sales, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or a sales-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Confidence building relationships with a wide range of customers.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the showroom and provide a friendly, professional, and memorable experience.
• Understand customer requirements, recommend suitable equipment, products, and solutions.
• Demonstrate products and explain their features, benefits, and applications.
• Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted point of contact.
• Support customers throughout their purchasing journey, from initial enquiry through to delivery and after-sales support.
• Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records using CRM systems.
• Support local marketing activities, product launches, customer events, and promotional campaigns.
• Re-engage existing and dormant customers to generate new sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across sales, service, parts, and operations to support customer success.
