Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking a Shift Lead for a full-time role to ensure the store runs smoothly from opening to close. You’ll lead the fill operation, allocate resources, and act as a key holder, ensuring a safe, well-presented store and excellent customer service.

You will coach colleagues, collaborate with the team, and support nearby stores as needed. The role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for development.

Qualifikationen

• Good level of digital capability and can access and utilise relevant systems.
• Good knowledge of the commercial operation, brilliant basics and operational excellence.
• Current working knowledge of all VM principles.
• A good communicator with the ability to build relationships and work within a team.
• A good knowledge of the legal requirements associated with the role of a customer assistant and when duty managing.
• Maintain high presentation standards, attention to detail and deliver on time, right first time.
• Interpret data relevant to the role.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to change.

Aufgaben

• Lead the fill operation and coordinate resources to serve, sell and fill, and lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Coach colleagues on One Best Way and drive productivity for store opening.
• Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience.
• Ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently across all store areas.
• Coordinate the team to maintain a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to boost performance.
• Support nearby stores if required.
• Be a key holder and respond to call outs.
• Handle opening/closing duties including receipt of vehicles, temperature controls, logging issues with Helpdesks, cash handling and TSL compliance.
