Job summary

Marks & Spencer Ireland is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to join our store team. You will lead the fill operation, manage opening/closing, and ensure the sales floor is ready to trade while safeguarding store presentation and safety.

You will coach colleagues, support the Colleague Managers, allocate resources for quick checkout, and model excellent customer service and M&S behaviours. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to be a key holder.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation and deliver a ready-to-trade sales floor.
• Coordinate resources to serve, sell and fill and to lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Coach colleagues on One Best Way and drive productivity for store readiness.
• Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience.
• Ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently across all store areas.
• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Be a role model for great Customer Service and M&S behaviours across the store.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to help deliver high performance.
• Open/close responsibilities including receipt of vehicles, temperature controls, logging issues with Helpdesks, cash handling and periheral hours.
