Job summary

Alpine Recruitment Group is recruiting a Setting Out Engineer for a national main contractor to work on a large residential project in Cherrywood (apartments and houses).

The role involves reporting to the Senior Engineer, ensuring works meet specifications, setting out and surveying the site, accurate record keeping, liaising with subcontractors and the broader project team, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
• 2yrs Setting Out experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Senior Engineer.
• Ensure materials and works meet specifications.
• Setting out of all works and survey the site; accurate record keeping.
• Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and workforce.
• Emphasise Health and safety and best practices.

Our client a national main contractor wish to recruit Setting Out Engineer 2+yrs experience with a recognised building contractor to work on large residential project in Cherrywood both apartments + houses. The Role

• Report directly to Senior Engineer
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
• Setting out of all works and survey the site
• Accurate record keeping
• Liaise with any subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Health and safety, best practise

The Candidate

• Diploma/Degree
• 2yrs Setting Out experience
• Strong interpersonal skills work as part of a team
