GPC - Global Professional Consultants in Dublin is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to support the delivery of a residential apartment project on site. You will work closely with the site and engineering teams to ensure accurate setting out and smooth project delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, with 13+ years in setting out/site engineering, and experience on residential or building projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 13+ years experience in a setting out/site engineering role.
• Experience on residential or building projects preferred.

This is a site-based role offering strong exposure to large-scale urban residential developments, working closely with site and engineering teams to ensure accurate setting out and smooth project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all setting out duties on residential apartment projects
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately on site
• Ensure all works are set out in accordance with design and quality standards
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and consultants
• Maintain accurate site records and as-built documentation
• Support QA checks and ensure compliance with project requirements

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 13+ years experience in a setting out / site engineering role
• Experience on residential or building projects preferred
• Competent with total station and surveying equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on site
