Job summary

SPX FLOW is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to maintain, repair and service SPX FLOW and third-party equipment at customer sites and in our workshop across Ireland and the UK.

You will travel to customer sites, perform mechanical and hydraulic work, and deliver technical support while ensuring safety standards and proper reporting. Full on-site training will be provided, and opportunities for growth exist within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on service/maintenance/engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel UK & Ireland.
• English language proficiency and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, servicing and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Work directly with customers to deliver exceptional service and technical support.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Produce professional service reports and documentation.
• Support equipment commissioning and customer training when required.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Travel across the UK and Ireland as required.

At SPX FLOW, we are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair and servicing of SPX FLOW and third-party equipment at customer sites and in our workshop.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys variety, problem-solving, customer interaction, and travel.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, servicing and repairs on industrial equipment
• Working directly with customers to deliver exceptional service and technical support
• Executing service projects safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards
• Diagnosing technical issues and supporting effective solutions
• Collaborating closely with Service Engineers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Producing professional service reports and documentation
• Supporting equipment commissioning, start-up activities and customer training when required
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a service, maintenance, technical, engineering or similar hands‑on role
• A fitter or mechanic background would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working on industrial customer sites
• Full driving licence
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good communication skills and professional customer-facing approach
• English language proficiency
• Positive attitude, flexibility and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland
