Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking a Service Manager in Dublin to lead field service operations for commercial refrigeration systems across Ireland and international markets. The role combines hands-on engineering leadership with strategic development of the service function.

You will oversee installations, commissioning, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance, while managing budgets, schedules, and partner relationships to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting commercial or industrial refrigeration systems.
• F-Gas certification is required or held to operate refrigerants.
• Experience managing engineering resources, service schedules, budgets, or operational processes.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to manage service costs and budgets.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex installations, commissioning, fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance across commercial refrigeration systems.
• Manage service budgets, resource planning, engineer scheduling, and operational performance across the service team.
• Introduce structured processes, KPIs, and service workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Manage third-party service partners and distributors, ensuring agreed service standards are maintained.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for customers and internal teams, including root-cause investigations and remote support.
• Develop technical training, service manuals, and SOPs while feeding field data back into Engineering and Manufacturing teams.

The business designs, supplies, installs, and maintains technically complex refrigeration equipment, with a strong focus on equipment reliability, service quality, and continuous product improvement. This is a senior, hands-on position combining field engineering leadership with responsibility for developing the structure, planning, and commercial performance of the service function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex installations, commissioning, fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance across commercial refrigeration systems
• Manage service budgets, resource planning, engineer scheduling, and operational performance across the service team
• Introduce structured processes, KPIs, and service workflows to improve efficiency and consistency
