Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Limited is supporting a leading global HVAC company to hire an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong refrigeration background. The role offers opportunities across Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Carlow and Limerick to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and keep commercial cooling systems running efficiently.

Salary is up to €70,000 with a company van, performance bonus, private medical insurance, dental care, enhanced pension, 25 days holiday and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certificate required.
• Proven experience servicing refrigeration or air conditioning systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing on commercial comfort cooling systems.
• Service and maintain chillers and rooftop equipment, including compressors, driers, EXVs, TEVs, and control panels.

Are you an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong refrigeration background?

Our client, a leading global HVAC company, is looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer to join their team, with opportunities available in Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Carlow and Limerick. If you enjoy diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and keeping commercial cooling systems running efficiently, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and servicing on commercial comfort cooling systems
• Service and maintain chillers and rooftop equipment, including compressors, driers, EXVs, TEVs, and control panels

Who They’re Looking For:

• A QQI Level 5 certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning through a recognised SOLAS Education Board
• Proven experience servicing refrigeration or air conditioning systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Desirable: PASMA, IPAF, Hydrocarbon, or Brazing certifications, plus experience working with water cooled or air cooled chillers
