Orange Recruitment is seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a respected engineering services business in Ireland. This role covers maintenance and technical support across commercial, industrial and critical environments, with a commitment to high standards and customer service.

You will work across varying sites, with strong technical support from leadership, and opportunities for ongoing training and career development within a growing team.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 Certification or equivalent refrigeration qualification.
• Proven experience with commercial/industrial refrigeration and cooling systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workload and work autonomously.
• Professional, customer-focused communication and full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide practical recommendations to clients.
• Record all work using a digital maintenance management system.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with supervisors and fellow engineers to maintain high technical standards and compliance.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
