Job summary

Monaghan & Sons Skoda and Hyundai dealer Castlebar is seeking a Service Advisor to join a busy workshop. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 35–40 hours, with on-site and office duties.

You will provide room-based leadership, daily support, and administrative tasks, act as a manager when required, and maintain the garage and yard while assisting the mechanic with repairs. Training is provided; reliability and own transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast paced and busy environment.
• Mechanical experience helpful but training provided.
• Must be reliable with own transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide room-based leadership and daily support, plus office-based administrative and management duties.
• Act as Manager when required and coordinate garage operations and yard.
• Maintain the garage, wash trucks and trailers, and assist the mechanic with repairs; coordinate warehouse, transport, inventory, reporting.
