ID Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor at a well-established family-run car dealership in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, representing leading brands Renault, Peugeot and Dacia.

You will be the main point of contact for servicing, handling enquiries, coordinating between workshop and customers, and delivering exceptional service while adhering to brand standards and warranty procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be the focal and point of contact for Peugeot, Renault and Dacia customers requiring servicing or repair.
• Manage all service telephone and walk-in enquiries on behalf of the dealership.
• Coordinate communication between the workshop, the rest of the dealership and the customer.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running problems where appropriate.
• Establish agreements with customers on the work that needs to be carried out.
• Enter all details onto the service workshop loading system to enable calculation of workshop capacity.
• Oversee handover and administration of customer service vehicles.
• Explain work to be carried out and obtain customer authorization.
• Understand and adhere to manufacturer brand and service requirements.
• Maintain safe working practices per dealership procedures.
• Maintain relevant systems ensuring accuracy at all times.
• Understand and implement manufacturer warranty policies and administration of warranty claims.
• Quality control of vehicles prior to delivery to customer.
• Adhere to manufacturer standards and procedures.
• Liaise with in-house body shop and workshop.
