Mastercard is seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical (PM-T) to drive the evolution of the MIND platform. This senior role shapes investments, governs portfolio intake, and aligns technology decisions with long-term architecture.

You will work with Product, Architecture, and Engineering leaders to drive scalable, reusable platform capabilities while influencing senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines deep technical product management expertise with data-driven decision making

Competenze

• Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar leadership role.
• Deep understanding of software engineering, platform architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience operating across multiple engineering teams and domains.
• Proven ability to drive prioritisation and investment decisions in complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of platform strategy, capability modelling and portfolio planning.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication with engineers, architects, product leaders and executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Business or equivalent practical experience.

• Evaluate, shape, and prioritise product and technology investments across the platform.
• Lead portfolio intake activities including demand assessment and prioritisation recommendations.
• Maintain and evolve the platform capability model aligned to strategic objectives.
• Identify opportunities for platform reuse, consolidation and simplification.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineering to ensure scalable, operable platform decisions.
• Drive visibility of portfolio priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps.
• Advise Product, Technology and Delivery leaders on investments and prioritisation.
• Partner with PM-Ts to ensure consistent product management practices across pods.
• Champion adoption of platform capabilities across stakeholders.
