Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager - Technical (PM-T) to drive the evolution of the MIND platform. This senior individual contributor role shapes platform investments, governs portfolio intake, and partners with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering leaders.

The candidate will work across teams to ensure demand aligns with platform strategy and architectural direction. Ideal candidates combine deep technical product management with data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar leadership role.
Deep understanding of software engineering, platform architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
Experience operating across multiple engineering teams and domains.

Responsibilities

Partner with Product Managers to evaluate, shape, and prioritise product and technology investments across the platform.
Lead portfolio intake activities including demand assessment, capability mapping, dependency analysis, and prioritisation recommendations.
Maintain and evolve the platform capability model to align with strategic goals and technology objectives.
Identify opportunities for platform reuse, consolidation, standardisation, and simplification.
Collaborate with Architects and Engineering leaders to ensure portfolio decisions support long-term scalability and operability.
