Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Technical Product Manager, Principal PM-T, Platform Product Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Deep understanding of software engineering, platform architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and modern product development practices.
• Experience operating across multiple engineering teams, products, or technology domains.
• Proven ability to drive prioritisation and investment decisions in complex, matrixed organisations.
• Strong understanding of platform strategy, capability modelling, portfolio management, and architecture-driven planning.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills with engineers, architects, product leaders, and executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and independently driving clarity and outcomes.
• Thrives as a hands-on contributor and is passionate about solving complex technology and platform challenges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, shape, and prioritise platform investments across the portfolio.
• Lead portfolio intake activities including demand assessment, capability mapping, dependency analysis, and prioritisation recommendations.
• Maintain and evolve the platform capability model to align initiatives with strategic capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for platform reuse, consolidation, and standardisation.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineering leaders to ensure scalable, operable portfolios.
• Drive visibility of priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps to stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted adviser on platform investment decisions across leadership.
• Partner with PM-Ts to ensure cross-domain planning and alignment.
• Champion adoption of platform capabilities across internal teams.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear leadership recommendations.
