Job summary
Mastercard is seeking a highly experienced Principal Product Manager - Technical (PM-T) to drive evolution of the MIND platform. You will shape investments, govern portfolio intake, and partner with Product, Architecture & Engineering to align demand with long‑term architectural goals.
The role requires strong technical product management expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple teams and domains.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as Technical Product Manager or similar leadership role.
- Deep understanding of software engineering, platform architecture, and APIs.
- Experience coordinating across multiple engineering teams and domains.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, shape, and prioritise product and technology investments across the platform.
- Lead portfolio intake activities, including demand assessment and capability mapping.
- Maintain and evolve the platform capability model to align with strategy.
- Drive platform reuse, consolidation, and technical simplification.
- Collaborate with Architects and Engineering leaders on portfolio decisions.
- Provide clear recommendations to senior leadership based on data and context.
