Job summary

ODS Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep structural steelwork expertise to lead end-to-end delivery of steelwork contracts. This senior, autonomous role is within a thriving Irish engineering business with ISO 9001 accreditation.

You will own the full project lifecycle from tender and design coordination through fabrication, production, site installation, snagging, and O&M handover, taking commercial and operational accountability to the divisional manager.

Qualifications

10+ years' experience in structural steelwork project management or contracts management.
End-to-end delivery experience from tender through handover.
Strong commercial acumen with contract administration and cost management.
Established network of structural steel clients, main contractors or supply chain partners.

Responsibilities

Own the complete project lifecycle from tender to O&M handover, including design coordination, fabrication oversight, site installation and snagging.
Manage multiple steelwork projects across the full value chain, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to spec.
Lead internal teams and external subcontractors to meet programme milestones.
Act as primary client contact, manage expectations and resolve issues proactively.
Drive handover processes including O&M manuals and as-built documentation.
