Job summary

Oracle SA is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and delivery of complex structures across steel, concrete, masonry and timber. You will apply Eurocodes and European standards while coordinating with clients, contractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years structural design experience in construction/consulting engineering.
• Experience delivering structures in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
• Experience working to Eurocodes and relevant European standards/regulations.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as SCIA, RFEM or Tekla (Revit advantageous).
• Ability to produce and interpret structural sketches and drawings.
• Strong technical report-writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for structural engineering design and delivery from concept to completion.
• Produce structural sketches, calculations, analyses, detailed designs and technical reports.
• Analyse and design structures in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
• Apply Eurocodes, Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Technical Standards.
• Coordinate and contribute to client and project meetings, presenting technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
• Manage client expectations and maintain professional relationships.

Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its growing structural engineering team.

Wearelookingforatechnicallystrongandconfidentengineerwhocantakeownershipofprojectsfrominitialsketchesandstructuralconceptsthroughanalysis,detaileddesign,technicalreportingandclientpresentations.

Theidealcandidatewillbecomfortableworkingoncomplexprojectsandengagingdirectlywithclients,contractorsandotherprojectstakeholders.

Irishexperienceisadvantageousbutnotessential.MyclientisopentocandidatesbasedelsewhereinEuropeandarehappytoconsiderfullyremoteworkingarrangements.
