Job summary

Sunbeam House Services in Bray, Co. Wicklow, is seeking a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to lead a multidisciplinary team.

You will oversee complex caseloads in Communication Supports and FEDS, focusing on person-centred, rights-based practice and ongoing service development across Wicklow and South Dublin. You will mentor colleagues and students, drive AAC and Total Communication initiatives, and contribute to governance, quality improvement and best practice.

Qualifications

• CORU registered (or eligible for registration)
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities
• Expertise in dysphagia/FEDS management
• Passion for person-centred, rights-based practice
• Enjoys collaborative working and clinical leadership

About The Role

Based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, with services across Wicklow and South Dublin, you will manage a complex caseload across both:

Communication Supports

• Total Communication
• AAC and Assistive Communication
• Lámh
• Easy Read and accessible information
• Communication partner training

Feeding, Eating, Drinking & Swallowing (FEDS)

• Dysphagia assessment and management
• IDDSI implementation
• Mealtime support planning
• Staff training and clinical governance support

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Is CORU registered (or eligible for registration)
